Democratic Leadership should mount DAILY CITIZENS’ BRIEFING. Maybe it’s like a Fireside Chat or even like a talk show, say, “Meet the Democrats.” But this briefing would be aimed at American Citizens (not the press). And it would serve a host of desperately needed and essential communication related functions.

* A crew of spokespeople (from every conceivable demographic) to handle this task who are dynamic, energetic, exciting, accomplished, relevant, intelligent, articulate, diverse, good under pressure
* Neutralize Republicans’ LIES with TRUTH
* Every single time they lie, match it with what the TRUTH is
* A more formal, organized, thoughtful response to support/intensity/enhance the ad hoc responses from justifiably outraged voices of the many Dems who respond to his heinous/unhealthy/dangerous (but sickeningly effective) messaging
* Get positive press attention (both in quality and quantity)
* Neutralize Republicans’ success with convincing/persuasive/factual language/evidence, messaging, ethical propaganda, and branding
* Promote Democrat candidates all over the country, especially in states where House and Senate races are decided, and where Republican laws have done a lot of damage
* Promote Democrat legislative goals
* Promote Democrat values
* Convince/persuade citizens vote in their best interests, not based on fear, racism, or demagoguery
* An America that works for ALL citizens (not just the rich, corporations, Patriarchy)
* A healthy environment
* Invest in people
* The important role of excellent public education
* Invest in/promote use of emerging sustainable energy technologies (also to remove our dependence on fossil fuels)
* Clean up existing pollution and environmental disasters
* Don’t let corporations off the hook from responsibility for the environmental poisons/pollution they cause
* Highlight how R policies hurt every day Americans every single day
* Tax cut benefitted the rich and corporations
* High cost/inaccessible health coverage
* Environmental poison
* Corporations over people
* Loss of worker rights
* Loss of consumer protections
* Loss of Women’s rights
* Voter suppression, voter disenfranchisement,
* Cooperation with hostile foreign poets to achieve their goals to support corporations over people
* Plus a dive into authoritarianism, cult of personality, racism, bigotry, misogyny, xenophobia, voter suppression/disenfranchisement
